Faktycznie mogę się zgodzić 100%, stare attary Amouage to wyszcza liga szkoły perfumiarskiej i nic im nie dorówna.

Disclaimer: I’ve only tested in passing and I’m vastly influenced by the Amouage attars of old, which were my entry into perfume oils.
There is certainly a contemporary feel to this collection. I do think there’s an international clientele in mind with perhaps less discerning requirements regarding eg specific types of rose used etc, which of course is fine and slimlines the collection in comparison to historical offerings. I think the new attars structures are mostly straightforward, but so were the old ones which often circled around the familiar theme of rose, amber, jasmine, incense, oud and santal.
I find the new releases less uncompromising in what they aim to achieve, less daring and less opulent. They’re probably interesting for new customers and for those new to oils. I tried on skin Leather Sadah, a Harrods exclusive, because I missed that note from the selection of old oils, and Saffron Hamra, which is further structured around leather and creamy musk accords. I enjoyed those two best.
The price points are considerable (12ml, up to £400-ish).
