Cytat:Thank you so much for your kind comments and interesting query. We are delighted to hear such a wonderful endorsement of our product.
All Creed fragrances are made from the finest available ingredients, sourced and selected from world markets by the Creed family. In every case each perfume will be composed principally of natural organic oils. These will account for around 80% of the ingredients, in some cases more. Traditional methods of infusion and distillation are used to process them; much work is still done by hand.
The remainder of a fragrance will necessarily utilise synthetics and chemicals. These are too often misunderstood: quality control is equally high in their selection and their use in no way denotes short cuts or economy. Indeed many chemical ingredients may be more costly than natural oils. Without their use a fragrance will lack style, structure, polish and flair: a skilled perfumer uses them to display and enhance the natural ingredients, much as a jeweller will cut, polish + set a diamond.
For the past 120 years or so all quality perfumes have depended on a highly skilled and judicious blend of natural and synthetic ingredients. Recently there have been a few attempts to launch perfume brands which are 100% natural. Sadly they are inevitably disappointing, having very little character, tenacity or style. Mother Nature always relies on a little help and boost from the laboratory!
We hope this answers your question.
With very best wishes
